Guidelines for expression and use of Trademarks, Product/Service Names and Tags owned by memco Mempel Management Consulting

Last Updated: Mai 2nd, 2004

Following are a current listing of Trademarks, Product/Service Names and Tags ("TPST") owned by memco Mempel Management Consulting ("MEMCO") and guidelines for the proper use of TPST's by MEMCO business partners and other third parties.

Please note that these guidelines are no legal consultation and that laws concerning  use of registered trademarks, common law marks and product names apply. They will vary by country. Always consult a local trademark professional for additional guidance. Some of the names are only indicating a MEMCO Product/Service names and may by trademarks or common law marks for you or your company.

MEMCO takes great care in the development and protection of its TPST's and reserves all rights of ownership. MEMCO carefully limits the use of its TPST's. No other party may use MEMCO TPST's unless the following instructions give general permission,  it has the express written permission of MEMCO, is licensed by MEMCO to do so or has first rights to do so.

1. TPST-List

There are three types of MEMCO properties:

1.1 Trademarks

1.2 Product/Service Names

1.3.Tags

1.4 - 1.6 Product/Service Names

Not all TPST's used by MEMCO are listed on this pages. Because of the large number of products and product features marketed by MEMCO, MEMCO's practice is to list only the most important of its TPST's. Failure of TPST's to appear on this page does not mean that MEMCO does not use it nor does it mean that the product is not actively marketed or is not significant within its relevant market.

"Fair Expression and Use" policy and guidelines for Trademarks, Product/Service Names and Tags

The MEMCO Trademarks identify ways how to do consulting, management, organisation, cooperation, change and others (as described in the trademark classes). The MEMCO Product/Service Names identify product and services related to the MSCL Trademarks. The MEMCO Tags concentrate information to customers and users.

The "Fair Expression and Use" of MEMCO TPST's allows third parties to use or to make references to MEMCO TPST's. The following guidelines are published to ensure a correct handling of these TPST's in practice.

It is necessary that the use of the MEMCO TPST's be truthful, not disparaging to MEMCO, and does not mislead the public. You must be clear and accurate as to the nature of the relationship between MEMCO and your party's intentions, products or services.

Do not change the form or representation of the product name, including capitalization.

To obtain further permissions to use any MEMCO TPST's, contact the MEMCO headquarter in Rimbach and ask for the Trademark and Product/Service Name section.

Expression of TPST's

Trademarks

The proper symbol for registered MEMCO Trademarks is  at the right side of the mark (slightly lifted):

Examples:  Management Crossing, >Crossing and Crossing.

Product/Service Names

The proper symbol for MEMCO Product/Service Names is shown in the list above.

Examples: Project >Crossing,  Automobile + Automotive >Crossing

Tags

The proper symbol for MEMCO Tags is the TM on the the right side of the Tag (slightly lifted). Tag Indicators are used in italic letters:

Examples: Merge Forces to Drive Excellent Results.TM

Example    AAA can be supported by using the moves of Management Crossing.

... the MEMCO Trademark is mentioned in listing without  further explanation.

Example    AAA, BBB, Management Crossing, DDD, EEEE, ...

The first use of a MEMCO Trademark mentioned in a communication set (article, website, description etc.) must be identified in a footnote or attribution. The attribution must be located either on the page/screen where the MEMCO Trademark is used, or in the legal section of the communication or site in which it is referenced.
